Rest / Make Up Day
2011 May Challenge
Saturday May 21st starting at 1pm.
PART ONE
10 minutes to record a score, one point per pound and one point per pull up
1. max power clean and jerk
2. reps of strict pull ups
PART TWO
3 rounds of the following for time
10 front squats
10 burpees
10 box jumps
- ten minute rest between part one and two
-Bar must start on the ground for the front squats.
-entire foot must land on box
Mens divisions
165 pound front squat/30 inch box jump
115 pound front squat/24 inch box jump
Womens division
95 pound front squat/20 inch box jump
55 pound front squat/16 inch box jump
-No cost to enter and prizes will be given for best performance and most improved.
-Sign up sheets for heats will be posted next week
You mentioned most improved, are we going to do this workout a second time at a later date?

ReplyDeletethat is a beefy men's A division. i may have to do the B division or gain 10 lbs in the next three weeks so i can do those FS.

I stole ty's post workout from yesterday-
15 HSPU (10 with 1 ab mat, 5 w/ no ab mat)
25 game std push ups
35 dips (10-8-9-8)
45 KTE (3x15)
then endurance workout - 3x800m 100% effort, 3 min rest in between each, deviation penalty = 3 Burpees per second over 3 second difference
2:47/2:49/2:48...felt like i was running in cement after yesterday's WOD. NO burpees!
Ohh, a challenge! I can't make the 21st, but I'm assuming we can do a make-up during that week?
